Prune Mui
A sweet, tangy and locally-inspired side with that will compliment your holiday menu.

Ingredients
2 cup Dried Pitted Prunes
1 cup Dried Apricots
1/2 cup Dried Lemon Peel, cut into pieces
1 cup Li Hing Mui
2 cup Dark Brown Sugar
2 Lemons, Juiced
1 tbsp. Whiskey
1 tbsp. Hawaiian Salt
2 Star Anise
5 Cloves
Optional: Dried Cranberries
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine prunes, apricots, lemon peel and li hing mui.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over fruits and mix thoroughly.
Transfer to a bowl with a sealable cover and let stand for 3-5 days before serving and stir every 12 hours.
